Abbe Ertel Magid hails from Chicago and attended over 100 Bar and Bat Mitzvahs in the year 1997 alone. She is a Libra on the cusp of Scorpio with Pisces rising. She desires vanilla frosted donuts, kisses on her neck and back, rich smells of musk, staring into the eyes of tender animals, Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque sauce and discovering new hard hitting female fronted rock bands. She is the owner / operator of The Powers Collective and currently lives in New York with her partner Eagle Gould and her dog Ronsard“Poodleman”Gould.

Jenae Dane grew up in a land we know as the Wild West. Since turning 18 she's been living in New York. With a hunger for culture, and a brazen attitude, she illustrates, writes and shouts about the joys and injustices in this world. As a founding member of Forepleasure, she hopes to connect people and empower them. 

Loo Nichols is a writer living in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in English and Creative Writing. She additionally holds an MS from Columbia Journalism School in print journalism and an MFA in fiction from UC Riverside’s low residency program. Her writing has appeared in LARB, Catapult, Los Angeles Times, Pasadena Star News, Driftwood Literary Journal, Inside Out Literary Magazine, and the Hawaii Review. She spent 2011-2012 in Budapest, Hungary as a Fulbright scholar in creative writing.

Lydia Whitlock is a writer and cook who lives in Los Angeles. Her early years in Baltimore taught her the pleasures of cracking open a steamed blue crab with her bare hands and plucking each morsel of sweet flesh out from every nook and cranny. Her middle years in Atlanta taught her the joys of becoming a vegetarian to spite the 1990s white suburban southern foodways all around her. Her college years taught her that to cook well is to live well, and cheaply, too. She has lived in LA for ten years now, and finds a new version of the city within each restaurant and grocery store she visits. She also finds pleasure in: hikes with shady spots, running in the early morning, driving while listening to loud music, singing Beast of Burden at karaoke, being able to identify trees, grapefruit-scented perfume, watching old movies in bed, and the company of good friends.
